Big Fix and Teaser

I went ahead and fixed the cock canon myself, also implemented a boat load of spelling fixes a player pointed out.

Fund Raising Over

Red Light Zone

Player contribution, new place to find with a new explore zone, and a new critter hiding in it.

My bank account rebelled at the news, and dropped to -400 bucks, more ouch.

100K Hits

Dang 100k, already!

Through generations donations from awesome people, the project has amassed about 660$ total, 60$ of it this month. A bit slower than last month, but the month, she is young!

The forum is working fantastically to keep the community and content devs in constant communication, allowing bugfixes to happen a lot faster and make a better game for us to enjoy. If you haven't poked in there, you aught!

Multiplayer proceeds without any major hitches, I hope to have big news for it in the coming days, stay tuned.

Updates

Multiplayer has gotten some improvements for the newb experience including:
  • Dramatically less spammy login, especially as a guest.
  • Guests can't wander off into chargen.
  • Better instructions
Added kangaroo infection, just need to slip it in somewhere, yay! Has about four new mutant powers.

Gryphons got LactAid mutant power, healing that gets more powerful with increased breast size. Who can argue?

Phew, another day survived, and back to the code mines.

From the conversations had in comments, I wonder if perhaps an invite only event to the donators might be a good way to roll out the multiplayer, hmm!

From work

Just before I left, I did get child summoning to work, and it is awesome. Your spawn will appear with a desc matching the mutant strains he or she got at birth. Their sexual development is determined by whatever strain has control of their groin. So if your spawn is all latex fox but husky groin, they will be female and large breasted, a latex vixen.

You can now give birth! Child summoning as combat aid not yet implemented, but your kid remains in your inventory.

G'night

About time to turn in. How are folks liking the new monster?

Multiplayer update:
We got two types of skunk monsters and a giant angry mass of rubber balls(No joke) monster.

Mutant powers can now be improved, twice, after mastering them. You decide how your power grows!


Critters now form into somewhat coherent groups, instead of just 1d3 critters(Which could be 3 incredibly weaklings or 3 huge bosses, or 1 weakling).

The first quest is in and works and gets you some starting cash, always nice.

I feel like we're close to what could be a beta open. What do YOU feel a game should have before opening for beta?

Monster names are color coded for difficulty.
It's not all about levels! Monsters have ranks, and higher ranks means bigger rewards, and challenge.

Multiplayer Progress

Infection is entirely functional:
Being attacked can cause infection. Some infection parts give new powers immediately(latex fox arms? small claws, latex fox skin? rubbery hide).
You can infect enemies too!
Random enemies can pop up to menace you.
XP and cash is given for your victories(And shared to your pals if they are with you)

Areas can be set with min and maximum level of enemies within, and which enemies show up, and how often per movement.
Status effects are in and working nicely.
Gear can be purchased and used to augment your awesome mutant powers. Who says being a dragon precludes you from using a gun?

What a blahsy day

Being under the weather stinks, not that I think most of you are unaware of that. It's slowing my creative mojo and making me stare at the screen uncomprehendingly :p

Morning Everyone

Home sick, sniff.

But while I'm stuck here being headachey, I'm tinkering with the multiplayer, which can now produce descriptions of things much like the Inform game does.

An example:
Looking over XXXXX, their body is covered in Red and white Latex flesh. Their head is A mixture of canine and human, in a perpetual sneer of exposed teeth. Their body is Largely human, with only faint hints of beastial physique. They have 2 heavy C cup sized breasts. Their arms are charmingly human. Their legs are charmingly human. A private peek would reveal that they have: They have a large maleness, measuring 10 inches.  They have golf ball sized balls. They have a average cunt. With mild effort, it can stretch to 6 inches long and 4 inches around.

The ability to throw in  new infections with descriptions is present and easy to do without coding experience of any sort.

I think the next thing to do is to work out starting the game, and finding critters to fight and be infected by.

I don't make quite enough on this project to say no when the work bell rings, so off I run to get there and slave away, be back around/after 10pm, pacific.

Master Baiter, requires expert hunter, increases your hunting proficiency from 5X(Where expert hunter put it) to 10X, find what you're looking for in a hurry!
