Bouncing good time
A player contributed a new critter! I added her to the red light area for your enjoyment. Post any bugs that may be bothering her here. A well groomed roo is a happy roo.

Fixed the bug with the Drakenoids: Note, you MUST have loot entries, even if you set the loot chance to 0.
Added 3 feats!
Youthful Tide(Make all your kids attack!)
Expert Medic(25% more healing power! 20% chance of not losing your medkit!)
Like Attracts Like(Make monsters you are infected with show up more often!)

Code Repo Levelup!
So I learned how to add the primary source to the repo, and did. Enjoy!
Drakenoid
A fan saw the template and went to work, and we have a new beast, the Drakenoid, wandering outside the general city. Enjoy, post bugs here.
The extension has already been posted to the git repo for extensions, I'm getting used to working with that.
We have an ad banner? Yea, the game's open source, and folks aren't donating like they used to(aside from commissions from one person, I've gotten less than 100$ over the last two months from the single player crowd), I slipped in a lone banner to see how it does.
It shouldn't be in the way, but let me know if it is.

There's no otter excuse.
I neglected to actually include the otter file, so there were no otters.

It seems to be all the rage, but maybe we can make it productive? I was thinking, what if we grabbed the template, and I, live with a studio audience, morphed it into some new creature. People get to ask questions, we get a new critter, and maybe people feel confident enough to make their own? Win win win? Thoughts welcome.

Moth on the Beach
A new contributor did up a moth girl. After massaging the code into compiling, and adding a 'Beach' explore area, it should now work! Bug reports(ha!) go here.

I decided to go ahead and post a more advanced template, so here's the sewer gator. It's a monster, and a place you can go to where things happen, and multiple endings! Working off of this should let you make interesting beasts.

Trailing behind you, your child stays close, they have a Pit bull face and Wyvern body, covered in human skin.

The children remain as alert and human as you are, taking after you eagerly. Despite their age, they are already grown to a young adult, somewhere between 18 and 22 years of age, both in physical size and apparent emotional and mental development.
A subtle hint.

Too many Rulebooks
I really want to fix this. Can people give me SPECIFIC situations that cause it to occur? What did you do up to that point? Was it a restored game? New? The more details, the better!

Fix fix
Removed the word 'parking' from the mall room, allowing 'hunt park' to get you to... the park!
The red light district was set as an encounter to find, I removed that. You can now hunt red light as well.
Still trying to make the engine work for everyone. I'm getting a lot of mixed reviews on it. Considering switching back. Thoughts?

I modified the prompt to have some of the info you're used to having readily available. It's not as cool looking as it was before(awww) but at least it's there.
Does that work?
Also, I have not heard from the folks who were getting 'too many rulebook' errors, though I do hear the new engine is faster, which is awesome.

New engine
Ok, trying a new engine that runs the same game code. Tell me if it's nicer about save preservation, and that ever annoying 'too many rulebooks' error I keep hearing about.

The bills are being paid. This is proving to be quite an interesting profession, running an online game. My heartfelt thanks goes out to our great community for supporting me, and the game itself. I've never staffed for such an astoundingly friendly and open community before. You guys are fantastic!

Telanda submitted another revision. The hunt command is also bugfixed, so that hunting a location and going there immediately marks that location as known, so you can travel back to it later.
